Glycogenic acanthosis (GA) is a benign, asymptomatic condition commonly found in the lower third of the esophagus. This case report presents a unique occurrence of GA on the lips of a 55-year-old male smoker, who exhibited asymptomatic white lesions on his upper and lower lips for many years. Physical examination revealed multiple white papules on the wet-dry vermilion border of the lips.

Parastomal varices are an uncommon but significant source of hemorrhage in patients with portal hypertension, often posing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. We report the case of a 73-year-old male with a history of alcoholic liver disease and a urostomy following cystoprostatectomy for bladder cancer. The patient presented with profuse bleeding from his urostomy site.

Despite significant advancements in breast cancer treatments over the past decade, late recurrence, a hallmark of breast cancer, remains a major challenge for oncologists. In this case report, we present an atypical presentation of late breast cancer recurrence as a peri-bronchial lesion manifesting as dysphagia 14 years after completing treatment for primary breast cancer.

Background: Esophageal perforation is a rare but life-threatening condition associated with a high mortality rate and often presents with nonspecific clinical manifestations that can lead to delayed diagnosis and treatment. When combined with ST-segment elevation on electrocardiography (ECG), it can be particularly challenging to distinguish esophageal perforation from acute inferior myocardial infarction, as the two conditions may share similar ECG findings.
Case Description: We report the case of a 65-year-old man with a significant history of long-term alcohol consumption who presented to our hospital (the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) with persistent oppressive pain in the anterior and posterior left chest.

GORD can also be associated with a variety of atypical symptoms, including chest pain, chronic cough, and laryngopharyngeal symptoms. The causes of GORD are multifactorial, and the severity of symptoms is influenced by peripheral and central factors, including psychosocial stress and anxiety.
