The "breast within a breast" sign is used to describe the appearance of a breast hamartoma, also known as a fibroadenolipoma. A breast hamartoma is a benign mass made up of the same tissues that are found in a normal breast, giving the appearance of a breast within a breast on mammography. The "breast within a breast" sign is pathognomonic for a breast hamartoma and can help confidently diagnose these masses as benign without the need for further imaging or biopsy.

Background: For medium/small size breast, breast conserving surgery (BCS) is usually associated to poor cosmetic results. The objective of the study is to evaluate oncological safety and cosmetic results comparing the "Crescent" and the "J" mammoplasty technique and to develop an algorithm for the treatment of breast cancer located in lower quadrants in medium/small breast.

Methods: We retrospectively analysed all consecutive patients who underwent a "J" mammoplasty or a "Crescent" technique at AUSL IRCCS Reggio Emilia between 2016 and 2021.

From the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (D.S.P., K.H., A.M., B.E.D.), Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics (S.N., P.K., M.C.C., L.W., A.M.), and Biomedical Engineering Department (A.M.), University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, 5323 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75390-8585.

Purpose To develop a custom deep convolutional neural network (CNN) for noninvasive prediction of breast cancer nodal metastasis. Materials and Methods This retrospective study included patients with newly diagnosed primary invasive breast cancer with known pathologic (pN) and clinical nodal (cN) status who underwent dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) breast MRI at the authors' institution between July 2013 and July 2016. Clinicopathologic data (age, estrogen receptor and human epidermal growth factor 2 status, Ki-67 index, and tumor grade) and cN and pN status were collected.

A patient initially operated on for aesthetic breast augmentation had a round-textured silicone gel prosthesis, , placed in a subglandular plane. The patient developed a bilateral capsular contracture, and 4 years later, underwent a complete bilateral capsulectomy with an exchange of Mentor 215 cm textured cohesive silicone-gel ultra-high profile breast implants in the same subglandular plane. One year later, the patient developed cancer in the right breast, so it was decided to perform a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with 265 cm (left) and 310 cm (right) Natrelle (Allergan) round-textured silicone-gel implants in a submuscular plane.

Oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery (OBCS) is increasingly used to treat breast cancer with the dual purpose of performing a radical oncological resection while minimizing the risk of post-operative deformities. The aim of the study was to evaluate the patient outcomes after Level II OBCS as regards oncological safety and patient satisfaction. Between 2015 and 2020, a cohort of 109 women consecutively underwent treatment for breast cancer with bilateral oncoplastic breast-conserving volume displacement surgery; patient satisfaction was measured with BREAST-Q questionnaire.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women, with high morbidity and mortality. Molecular alterations in breast cancer involve the expression or upregulation of various molecular targets that can be used for diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical treatment. Theragnostics is based on the binding of radionuclides to molecular targets.
