In this paper, we investigate the theory of energy distribution when divergent light undergoes harmonic conversion in KDP crystals, and based on this theory, we design and construct a precision measuring instrument for the detuning angle of (KDP) Crystals (MIDC). The device can obtain the detuning angle of the crystal by a single measurement with an average measurement error of 72.78 urad. At the same time, it also has the function of scanning the full aperture of the crystals. Using the MIDC, it is possible to quickly measure the KDP crystal at a single point and quickly scan the crystal detuning angle at full aperture. In addition, we conduct a theoretical study on the variation of detuning angle caused by gravity-influencing factors under online conditions, propose an optimization formula for the offline measurement results of detuning angle, and calculate the optimized values of detuning angle for two kinds of crystals under 45° online conditions. We finally study the error source of the MIDC device, analyze the trend of the influence of positioning errors of the crystal and optical elements on the detuning angle measurement results, and provide theoretical support for the error monitoring and correction of MIDC.

A four level chiral medium is considered to analyze and investigate theoretically the reflection/transmission coefficients of right circularly polarized (RCP) beam and left circularly polarized (LCP) beam as well as their corresponding GH-shifts under the effect of compton scattering. Density matrix formalism is used for calculation of electric and magnetic probe fields coherence. The polarization and magnetization are calculated from probes coherence terms in the chiral medium.

Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN 47907, USA.

Objective: We propose a modular stretchable coil design using conductive threads and commercially available embroidery machines. The coil design increases customizability of coil arrays for individual patients and each body part.

Methods: Eight rectangular coils were constructed with custom-fabricated stretchable tinsel copper threads incorporated onto textile.

We theoretically investigate the spin and charge transport properties of a double quantum dot coupled to distinct edges of the nanowire hosting Majorana zero-energy modes. The focus is on the analysis of the currents flowing through the left and right junctions and their cross-correlations. We show that the system reveals very different transport properties depending on the detuning protocol of the quantum dot energy levels.

Introduction of a dielectric material in a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) probe head modifies the frequency response of the probe circuit, a phenomenon revealed by detuning of the probe. For NMR spectroscopy, this detuning is corrected for by tuning and matching the probe head prior to the NMR measurement. The magnitude of the probe detuning, "the dielectric shift", provides direct access to the dielectric properties of the sample, enabling NMR spectrometers to simultaneously perform both dielectric and NMR spectroscopy.

Due to shrinkage in photopolymer materials, the angle of the reconstruction beam in holographic optical elements (HOEs) does not match with the Bragg condition, resulting in a decreased amount of light in the desired direction or loss of transmitted information to rematch the Bragg condition. Thus, to ensure final display features it is imperative to precompensate the shrinkage effect. We derived simplified expressions for precompensation in recording geometries of required HOEs in holographic waveguide-based Maxwellian near eye displays.
