Giant femoral arteriovenous fistulas are comparatively uncommon, typically treated through covered stents, coil embolization, and open surgical repair. Nevertheless, these options may not be appropriate for all patients. Herein, we describe a case of traumatic femoral arteriovenous fistulas that led to drastic dilatation of the femoral arteriovenous system and considerable heart failure symptoms due to prolonged lack of treatment. Given the intricate anatomical location of the fistula and the patient's severe cardiac dysfunction, surgical repair is often unfeasible. Consequently, we adopted an innovative approach in this case, utilizing a ventricular septal occluder device for fistula closure. This constitutes the first report of an arteriovenous fistula transcatheter closure with a septal occluder.

Background: We aim to share our experience of transradial access (TRA) for cerebral angiography and intervention in five patients ranging from 6 days to 7 months of age.
Methods: In this institutional review board-approved, retrospective case series, we reviewed all patients who underwent TRA for cerebral angiography with and without intervention. We describe three techniques for radial artery cannulation, namely: (1) bareback; (2) with a micropuncture sheath; and (3) with an intravenous catheter.

Background: Lung transplantation is a viable lifesaving option for patients with diffuse pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). We present a case of diffuse pulmonary AVMs associated with juvenile polyposis and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (JP-HHT) that was successfully managed by lung transplantation.
Case Presentation: A 19-year-old woman developed severe hypoxemia due to pulmonary AVMs diagnosed at 4 years of age.
Objectives: Femoral vein transposition (tFV) is a complex procedure that provides high patency rates for patients with exhausted upper-limb vascular access. Traditionally, the procedure involves a long single incision in the thigh to harvest the femoral vein, but this approach is associated with increased risks of local complications such as infections and haematomas. Skip incisions have shown to lower complication rates and shorten maturation times.

Tunneled dialysis catheter is the alternative for dialysis patients who cannot benefit from an arteriovenous fistula.
