Background: Conventional right hepatectomy typically involves resection of the right hemiliver, often including partial removal of the caudate lobe. However, recent advancements, particularly in indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence imaging, have allowed for more accurate identification of anatomical boundaries between liver segments. In this context, we present a refined technique for real anatomical right hepatectomy that preserves the caudate lobe, offering enhanced surgical precision and several distinct advantages over traditional methods.

Background: Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD) is used more commonly, but high-level evidence is still scarce. This meta-analysis aimed to compare the short-term outcomes between RPD and laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD) using data collected from propensity score-matched (PSM) studies.
Materials And Methods: We searched PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science databases for PSM studies comparing RPD and LPD.

Robotic cholecystectomy (RC) using the da Vinci surgical system has been introduced as a potential alternative to the gold standard laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) for gallbladder removal. This systematic review aims to evaluate and compare the postoperative outcomes (operative time, bile leak, and postoperative complications) and cost-effectiveness between da Vinci RC and LC. A comprehensive search of electronic databases, including EMBASE, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, and PubMed, used Medical Subject Headings terms and Boolean operators to identify relevant studies.
