Dual-ion batteries based on organic electrodes show great potential to break through the bottlenecks existed in conventional LIBs due to their high specific capacity, lifted working voltage, and environmental benignity. Herein, two innovative viologen-based bipolar copolymers poly(viologen-pyrene-4,5,9,10-tetrone dichloride) (PVPTOCl ) and poly(viologen-anthraquinone dichloride) (PVAQCl ) were synthesized and applied as high performance cathodes for lithium-dual-ion battery. Bearing the dual-ion storage capability of viologen and carbonyls, as well as the conjugated structure of pyrene-4,5,9,10-tetrone, the synthesized copolymers show remarkable electrochemical performances for LIBs. Compared to PVAQCl , PVPTOCl shows superior electrochemical performance with high initial specific capacity (235.0 mAh g at 200 mA g ), high reversibility (coulombic efficiency up to 99.96 % at 1 A g ), excellent rate performance (150.3 mAh g at 5 A g ) and outstanding cycling stability (a reversible capacity of 197.5 mAh g at a current density of 1 A g and a low capacity loss per cycle of 0.11‰ during 3000 cycles). Moreover, the charge storage mechanism was systematically investigated by ex-situ FT-IR, ex-situ XPS and DFT calculations. The results clearly reveal the structure-property relationship of the bipolar-molecules, providing a new platform to develop efficient bipolar materials for dual-ion batteries.

Background: Interventricular dyssynchrony derived from the classic non-physiological stimulation (n-PS) of the right ventricle (RV) is a known cause of left ventricular dysfunction (LVDys).
Methods: This was a prospective descriptive single-center study. We analyzed patients who develop LVDys with n-PS, and the results after upgrading to conduction system pacing (CSP).

Purpose: Autistic adults experience high rates of traumatic events and PTSD. However, little work has evaluated motor vehicle accident (MVA) related trauma symptoms. The goal of this brief report was to provide pilot data characterizing MVA-related peritraumatic reactions, trauma symptoms, and rates of PTSD diagnosis and mental health service use among Autistic compared to non-autistic adults.

The widespread use of pesticides, including diazinon, poses an increased risk of environmental pollution and detrimental effects on biodiversity, food security, and water resources. In this study, we investigated the impact of Potentially Toxic Elements (PTE) including Zn, Cd, V, and Mn on the degradation of diazinon in three different soils. We investigated the capability and performance of four machine learning models to predict residual pesticide concentration, including adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), support vector regression (SVR), radial basis function (RBF), and multi-layer perceptron (MLP).

Introduction: With reports of expanding epidemiology of blastomycosis across the United States, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the incidence and outcomes associated with blastomycosis in solid organ transplant (SOT) and hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) recipients.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective case series of adult SOT and HCT recipients at a tertiary care medical center between January 1, 2005 and September 30, 2023. Cases were defined as culture-proven blastomycosis.

Introduction: Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is an opportunistic pathogen associated with various nosocomial infections and is known for its intrinsic multidrug resistance. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the epidemiology and resistance patterns of S. maltophilia in China from 2014 to 2021.
