The Homeostasis Theory of Well-being proposes a homeostatic modular system for the creation of human well-being. This article aims to: (i) provide a proof-of-concept demonstration of the feasibility of the theory in its biopsychosocial context; (ii) indicate prima facie empirical support for the homeostatic nature of the 16 proposed modules; (iii) discuss the similarities to and differences from other homeostasis theories of well-being. Following the Central Limit Theorem, any homeostatic system with multiple inputs produces outputs with a Gaussian distribution. The data-base of studies contains approximately 2000 publications reporting U- or inverse U-shaped curves for the 16 homeostatic domains specified in the theory. The Homeostasis Theory of Well-being remains speculative and requires controlled longitudinal study to determine the scientific validity of the causal network proposed by the theory. The theory has implications for our understanding of humans' drive for balance, equilibrium and stability in this increasingly uncertain world.

Folates comprise a crucial class of biologically active compounds related to folic acid, playing a vital role in numerous enzymatic reactions. One-carbon metabolism, facilitated by the folate cofactor, supports numerous physiological processes, including biosynthesis, amino acid homeostasis, epigenetic maintenance, and redox defense. Folates share a common pterin heterocyclic ring structure capable of undergoing redox reactions and existing in various protonation states.
In this work, we present a novel modeling framework for understanding the dynamics of homeostatic regulation. Inspired by engineering control theory, this framework incorporates unique features of biological systems. First, biological variables often play physiological roles, and taking this functional context into consideration is essential to fully understand the goals and constraints of homeostatic regulation.

In complex organisms, functional units must interact cohesively to maintain homeostasis, especially within mucosal barriers that house diverse, specialized cell exposed to constant environmental challenges. Understanding how homeostasis at mucosal barriers is maintained and how its disruption can lead to autoimmune diseases or cancer, requires a holistic view. Although omics approaches and systems immunology have become powerful tools, they are not without limitations; interpretations may reflect researchers' assumptions, even if other explanations exist.
Driving behavior is crucial in shaping traffic dynamics and serves as the foundation for safe and efficient autonomous driving. Despite the widespread interest in driving behavior modeling, existing models often focus on specific behaviors and cannot describe all types of vehicle movements, while vehicle status and driving scenarios are dynamic and infinite. That means comprehending and modeling generalized driving behavior mechanisms is essential.
