Thus, addressing TAM resistance is crucial for improving therapeutic outcomes. This study explored the potential role of Tinagl1, a secreted extracellular matrix protein, whose expression is compromised in TAM-resistant MCF-7 breast cancer cells (MCF-7R).

Background: Cancer-associated cachexia can inhibit immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy efficacy. Cachexia's effect on ICI therapy has not been studied in large cohorts of cancer patients aside from lung cancer. Background: Few studies have evaluated home-based cardiac rehabilitation (HBCR) during the pandemic, compared to prepandemic center-based CR (CBCR), with respect to patient characteristics, participation rates, and its efficacy on clinical metrics, health-related quality of life (QoL), and modifiable risk factors.
Objectives: We aimed to describe patient characteristics and participation rates for those attending HBCR compared to patients who attended CBCR and compare the effects of HBCR vs CBCR on clinical metrics, health-related QoL, and modifiable risk factors in CR patients pre vs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study comparing 511 HBCR patients and 765 CBCR patients from the Mayo Clinic Health System.

Objective: This research sought to assess the predictive potential of the inflammation-immunity-nutrition score (IINS) and the high-sensitivity C-reactive protein-albumin-lymphocyte (CALLY) index in individuals with NSCLC post-surgery.
Methods: The study enrolled 506 patients with NSCLC undergoing R0 resection at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The training cohort was analyzed utilizing X-tile software to identify the ideal threshold values for categorizing high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, albumin, lymphocyte count, and the CALLY index.
