Based on continuing bonds theory, this research assessed the manifestation of a continuing relationship for bereaved parents with their deceased offspring who is buried in a different country. This qualitative interpretive phenomenological study is based on interviews with seven bereaved parents whose offspring died during military service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and were buried in Israel, whilst the parents live outside of Israel. Analysis revealed three themes: (a) fulfillment of their offspring's will; (b) commemoration; (c) physical and emotional proximity to their offspring.

Originally reserved for the elite, a democratization of the format has led to obituaries becoming more common and more detailed over the past century. Changes in this genre interact with the rise of nonreligion.

This study aims to explore the collective grief manifested on the first anniversary of the earthquake that occurred in Türkiye on February 6, 2023, through the analysis of 10,000 posts on platform X. Designed with qualitative methodology, thematic analysis was conducted, revealing two main themes: "collective grief as a ground for social solidarity" and "politicization of collective grief." The results indicated that the sharing of emotions as well as rituals, commemoration ceremonies, etc.

This article commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first issue of Cell & Tissue Research (CTR), the longest-running active journal dedicated to cell biology. Reflecting the significant contributions of spermatology and embryology to the early days of cell biology, the majority of articles in CTR's inaugural issue centered on plant and animal sperm cells. A brief synopsis of these articles provides a launching point for revisiting 100 years of research on the male germ cells and fertility in humans and animals and offers a perspective on the current state and future directions of the andrology field.
