Based on the framework theory of industrial digitization, digital industrialization, digital governance and digital value-added in a sustainable environment, this paper systematically studies the relevant elements of governance and value distribution in the sustainable environment of global trade, and its impact on the development path of human beings. This paper explores the way to embed digital technology into the global value chain to realize digital empowerment, measures the competitiveness index of Keqiao's textile industry in the global value chain, analyzes the technical and environmental challenges faced by China's textile industry in the digital age, and proposes the corresponding countermeasures to deal with the impact of global value chain participation and to improve the international competitiveness of China's textile industry.

Green preparation of highly transparent nano-NH-UiO(Zr)-66/cellulose composite films with high-strength, superior flame retardant and UV to high-energy blue light shielding performance.

Int J Biol Macromol

January 2025

Engineering Research Center for Hemp and Product in Cold Region of Ministry of Education, School of Light Industry and Textile, Qiqihar University, Qiqihar 161006, PR China. Electronic address:

From the perspective of sustainable development and practical applications, there is a significant demand for the design of advanced cellulose-based film materials with superior mechanical, optical, and functional properties utilizing environmentally friendly strategies. Herein, biodegradable, mechanically robust and flame-retardant cellulose films with adjustable optical performance were successfully fabricated by in situ synthesis of NH-UiO(Zr)-66 via a DMF-free green process at room temperature. The results indicate that the introduction of NH-UiO(Zr)-66 enables films to realize a desirable flame retardancy (the limiting oxygen index (LOI) increased significantly from 19.

Electrospinning Membrane with Polyacrylate Mixed Beta-Cyclodextrin: An Efficient Adsorbent for Cationic Dyes.

Polymers (Basel)

January 2025

Institute of Textile Auxiliary and Ecological Dyeing Finishing, Nanjing Tech University, 30 South Puzhu Road, Nanjing 211816, China.

A simple and non-chemical binding nanofiber (-CD/PA) adsorbent was obtained by electrospinning a mixture of -cyclodextrin (-CD) and polyacrylate (PA). The cationic dyes in wastewater were removed by the host-guest inclusion complex of the -cyclodextrin and the electrostatic interaction between the polyacrylate and the dyes groups. The influence of the content of -cyclodextrin on the surface morphology and adsorption capacity of the nanofiber membrane was discussed, and the optimized adsorption capacity of nanofiber adsorption material was determined.

Thanks to their unique physicochemical properties, ionic liquids (ILs) have moved from niche academic interest to critical components in various industrial applications. The textile industry, facing significant environmental and economic pressures, has begun to explore ILs as sustainable alternatives to traditional solvents and chemicals. This review summarizes research on the use of ILs in various textile processes, including dyeing, finishing, and fiber recycling, where their high thermal stability, tunable solubility, and low volatility are exploited to reduce resource consumption and environmental impact.

Essential Oils from Citrus Peels Promote Calcium Overload-Induced Calcicoptosis in U251 Cells.

Antioxidants (Basel)

December 2024

Key Laboratory of Agricultural Biosafety and Green Production of Upper Yangtze River (Ministry of Education), College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Southwest University, Beibei District, Chongqing 400715, China.

Citrus peel essential oils (CPEOs) have demonstrated substantial medicinal potential for glioblastoma treatment because of their extensive antitumor effects, low potential for drug resistance, and ability to cross the human blood-brain barrier. In this study, the chemical compositions of five CPEOs were analyzed via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). CCK8 assays were used to evaluate the ability of five CPEOs to inhibit U251 human glioblastoma cells, and XLB and RA were selected for further investigation.
