Granular cell tumors are uncommon neoplasms of Schwannian origin that can present nearly anywhere in the body, but are most commonly seen in the head and neck region. While the majority of these tumors are benign, a subset can behave aggressively and even have metastatic potential. We are reporting a case of a 35-year-old female with a history morbid obesity presenting for bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy). Upon receiving the specimen in pathology, nodular vaguely defined lesions were identified in the gastric wall. Representative sections were submitted for microscopic examination, which revealed the incidental finding of a multifocal granular cell tumor with a background of chronic gastritis. The patient has not had any regional recurrences or metastasis in the past 2 years following the procedure.

Based on the analysis of the structures of robots and electronics developed so far, it should be noted that a majority of them need a reservoir for electrical energy storage. Unfortunately, most off-the-shelf devices commercially available nowadays are based on rigid parts that heavily limit the possibilities of incorporating such products into soft robots and wearable electronics. To address these issues, a new type of flexible structure for electrical energy storage, which consists of small battery cells connected by liquid metal paths, was proposed.

Introduction: We investigated whether the cerebellum develops neuropathology that correlates with well-accepted Alzheimer's disease (AD) neuropathological markers and cognitive status.
Methods: We studied cerebellar cytoarchitecture in a cohort (N = 30) of brain donors. In a larger cohort (N = 605), we queried whether the weight of the contents of the posterior fossa (PF), which contains primarily cerebellum, correlated with dementia status.

Objective: Based on current practice guidelines, we hypothesized that most patients with esophageal cancer, particularly those with locally advanced cancer, would benefit from adjuvant therapy after esophagectomy esophagectomy alone. We sought to obtain a granular estimate of patient-level risk-adjusted survival for each therapeutic option by cancer histopathology and stage.
Background: Although esophagectomy alone is now an uncommon therapy for treating locally advanced esophageal cancer, the value of adjuvant therapy after esophagectomy is unknown.

Aging is a worldwide socioeconomic burden. Cerebellar aging is an enigma contributing to many behavioral aging disorders, hence is its hindering by prophylactic measurements is a crucial geriatric research target. The clinical presentation of T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T-LGLL) is extremely variable: 30% of patients have neutropenia with no associated symptoms, others present with bacterial infections and sepsis may occur. Tools to predict patient outcome are lacking. Stemming from preliminary results obtained by single cell-RNAseq we investigated by qPCR HSP and IFIT gene families in 27 LGLL patients (23T-LGLL and 4 NK-LGLL), including 11 with neutropenia and/or thrombocytopenia and 16 asymptomatic for the disease.
