Data normalization is the critical step for the RNA-seq data analysis. Several techniques are suggested for the normalization of transcript reads in the samples. In this study, the differentially expressed (DEGs) are generated from the TCGA normalized laryngeal cancer data obtained using the TPM, FPKM, and DESeq2 techniques. The results showed that the reports of DEGs were different based on the normalization techniques. We suggested that the DEG intersections obtain the top transcripts from the normalized data in support of the pathway enrichment process.
