A hallmark of chronic and inflammatory diseases is the formation of a fibrotic and stiff extracellular matrix (ECM), typically associated with abnormal, leaky microvascular capillaries. Mechanisms explaining how the microvasculature responds to ECM alterations remain unknown. Here, we used a microphysiological model of capillaries on a chip mimicking the characteristics of healthy or fibrotic collagen to test the hypothesis that perivascular cells mediate the response of vascular capillaries to mechanical and structural changes in the human ECM.

Aim: This study aims to evaluate the impact of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on pain, swelling, trismus, soft tissue healing and bone regeneration following mandibular third molar extraction.
Material And Methods: A systematic review was conducted from a period of January 2014 to June 2024 using PRISMA guidelines. The search strategy included databases such as Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, using key terms related to "PRF", "PRP", oral surgery, and third molars.

Dental caries, driven by dysbiosis in oral flora and acid accumulation, pose a significant threat to oral health. Traditional methods of managing dental biofilms using broad-spectrum antimicrobials and fluoride face limitations such as microbial resistance. Natural products, with their antimicrobial properties, present a promising solution for managing dental caries, yet their clinical application faces significant challenges, including low bioavailability, variable efficacy, and patient resistance due to sensory properties.

Ischemia and pathological angiogenesis in retinal vascular diseases cause serious vision-related problems. However, the transcriptional regulators of vascular repair remain unidentified. Thus, the factors and mechanisms involved in angiogenesis must be elucidated to develop approaches for restoring normal blood vessels.

Introduction: Leptomeningeal disease (LMD) in diffuse midline gliomas (DMGs) can lead to devastating symptoms such as severe pain, urinary incontinence, and tetraparesis, with limited treatment options. We determined whether detecting H3F3A K27M-mutant droplets in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) circulating tumor deoxyribonucleic acid (ctDNA) could be a biomarker for detecting LMD in DMGs.
Methods: Twenty-five CSF samples were obtained from 22 DMG patients.
