Tate ex Sweet 1831 is a species of ornamental plant found in southern China. In the present study, the complete chloroplast genome of was sequenced. The genome was 149,453 bp in length and lacked the typical quadripartite structure. The plastid genome contained 112 genes, including 74 protein-coding genes, 34 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes.
