We describe hitherto unreported physiological low-grade 68Ga-PSMA-11 uptake in dural sinuses of patients who underwent 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT for evaluation of prostate carcinoma. A strong positive correlation was found between SUVmax of tracer uptake in dural sinuses and SUVmax of blood pool activity in superior vena cava. Low-grade 68Ga-PSMA-11 uptake seen in dural sinuses is physiological and is most likely result of venous blood pool activity. Such uptake should not be interpreted as pathological. Knowledge of such physiological uptake is essential for optimal interpretation of PSMA PET/CT images and differentiating physiological versus pathological uptake.

We report complete remission of dural-based leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) in an 80-year-old female patient with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by osimertinib. She was diagnosed with NSCLC (adenocarcinoma, T4N3M1a) 8 years ago. Mutation analysis of biopsied tissue revealed exon 19 deletion positive, and gefitinib was prescribed.

Primary intraosseous meningiomas are rare extradural tumors. They are typically slow-growing, painless, and asymptomatic until they cause a mass effect. We report a case of a calvarial primary intraosseous meningioma, which became symptomatic despite a very small size.

Contrast enhancement MRI of the brain and spine showed abnormal enhancement in intracranial and spinal dural lesions in a 6-year-old boy with high-risk neuroblastoma, suggesting the possibility of dural metastases. 123 I-MIBG SPECT/CT did not show any abnormal MIBG accumulation in these lesions. However, 68 Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT showed obvious DOTATATE uptake in these metastatic lesions.

Purpose: Theranostic approaches combining prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET/CT or PET/MRI with PSMA-targeted radionuclide therapy have improved clinical outcomes in patients with prostate cancer (PCa) especially metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer. Dural metastases in PCa are rare but can pose a diagnostic challenge, as meningiomas, a more common dural based lesions have been shown to express PSMA. The aim of this study is to compare PSMA PET parameters between brain lesions classified as dural metastases and meningiomas in prostate cancer patients.

We present the case of a 70-year-old male patient who underwent a gallium-68 (Ga)-DOTATOC brain positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) for the assessment of a tumorous lesion on the dura. The patient had previously undergone below-knee amputation due to a mass of synovial sarcoma on the left foot and completed adjuvant chemotherapy approximately 3 months ago. Subsequently, a well-demarcated papillary solid mass located on the dura was surgically excised.
