The traditional partial oxidation, dry reforming and steam reforming of methane technologies are separated into two reactors for execution by chemical looping technology, which can avoid the defects exposed in the traditional process (avoiding carbon accumulation, reducing costs, ). The key to chemical looping technology is to find suitable oxygen carriers (OCs), which can store and release oxygen to form a closed loop in the chemical looping. The purpose of this review is to summarize the current status of perovskite oxides for partial oxidation and reforming of methane in chemical looping, describe the structure, oxygen capacity, oxygen migration rate and common synthesis methods of perovskites in chemical looping. In addition, the effects of impregnation loading, ion doping, and structural morphology on the catalytic conversion of CH by perovskite OCs and the reaction mechanism on the OCs are also discussed.

The chemical looping co-gasification of nitrogen-containing algal biomass and coal could effectively realize the high-value utilization of gasification products, but the mechanism of conversion of nitrogen-containing pollutants is not clear. In this work, the effects of the different ratios of microalgae on the co-gasification process were first explored, and the results showed that the 40 % coal + 60 % microalgae blending had the best synergistic effect, with a comprehensive synergistic index (CSI) of 1.35 as the maximum value.

RNA metabolism is focused on RNA molecules and encompasses all the crucial processes an RNA molecule may or will undergo throughout its life cycle. It is an essential cellular process that allows all cells to function effectively. The transcriptomic landscape of a cell is shaped by the processes such as RNA biosynthesis, maturation (RNA processing, folding, and modification), intra- and inter-cellular transport, transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation, modification, catabolic decay, and retrograde signaling, all of which are interconnected and are essential for cellular RNA homeostasis.

Integral controller is widely used in industry for its capability of endowing perfect adaptation to disturbances. To harness such capability for precise gene expression regulation, synthetic biologists have endeavoured in building biomolecular (quasi-)integral controllers, such as the antithetic integral controller. Despite demonstrated successes, challenges remain with designing the controller for improved transient dynamics and adaptation.

A new [DyBiOCl(saph)] () Werner-type cluster has been prepared, which is the first Dy/Bi polynuclear compound with no metal-metal bond and one of the very few Ln-Bi (Ln = lanthanide) heterometallic complexes reported to date. The molecular compound has been deliberately transformed to its 1-D analogue [DyBiO(N)(saph)] () via the replacement of the terminal Cl ions by end-to-end bridging N groups. The overall metallic skeleton of (and ) can be described as consisting of a diamagnetic {Bi} unit with an elongated trigonal bipyramidal topology, surrounded by a magnetic {Dy} equilateral triangle, which does not contain μ-oxo/hydroxo/alkoxo groups.
