As a kind of plasticizer, butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) presents a serious hazard to the ecosystem. Therefore, there is a strong need for an effective technique to eliminate the risk of BBP. In this work, a new photocatalyst of Bi/BiOCO/BiS with an S-scheme heterojunction was synthesized using Bi(NO) as the Bi source, NaS as the S source, and DMF as the carbon source and reductant. Numerous techniques have been used to characterize Bi/BiOCO/BiS such as scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The improved photoactivity of Bi/BiOCO/BiS was evaluated by photoelectrochemical response, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, photoluminescence, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and electrochemical Mott Schottky spectroscopy. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of this composite for BBP degradation under simulated sunlight irradiation could be attributed to the surface plasmon resonance effect of Bi metal and the heterojunction structure of BiOCO and BiS. The degradation rate of Bi/BiOCO/BiS was 85%, which was 4.52 and 1.52 times that of BiOCO and BiS, respectively. The prepared photocatalyst possessed good stability and reproducibility in eliminating BBP. The improved photocatalytic activity of Bi/BiOCO/BiS was demonstrated with the formation of an S-scheme heterojunction, and the degradation mechanism was discussed with a liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer.

Eudesmane-type sesquiterpene lactone isoalantolactone 1 is of great interest due to its availability, biological activity and synthetic application. Respective series of original spirocyclic (11S,5') (1,2,3-triazoline-eudesma-4,15-enolides) and (11S)-aziridine-eudesma-4,15-enolides were efficiently synthesized via a chemoselective 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of organic azides to the exocyclic double bond of the lactone ring of isoalantolactone or 13E-(aryl)isoalantolactones by heating in DMF or toluene. The thermal reactions of isoalantolactone with benzyl azide, 2-azidoethanol, or n-butyl azide in 2-methoxyethanol afforded 13-(alkyamino)isoalantolactones formed as a mixture of (Z) and (E)-isomers.

This article focusing on examining the function and further, molecular function of SHP2 in ovarian cancer (OC). For the molecular mechanism, bioinformatics was applied to study the specifically expressed genes in ovarian cancer ; the western blotting was applied to identify the EGF, p-SHP2, ZEB1, and E-Cadherin expressions in ovarian cancer tissue and pair adjacent tissue; then SKOV3 cells were treated with EGF and infected with E-Cadherin overexpression lentivirus, and then cells were treated with benzyl butyl phthalate and IRS-1 respectively. Detection of expression of p-SHP2, ZEB1, E-Cadherin, α3-integrin, p-Src, p-SMAD2, Snail, Slug and SKOV3 cells of migration and invasion abilities were detected using Western blot method and cell scratch assay and Transwell assay; Progression of ovarian cancer was detected using subcutaneous tumor transplantation assay in nude mice and HE staining method and immunocyto.

Pet dogs offer valuable models for studying environmental impacts on human health due to shared environments and a shorter latency period for cancer development. We assessed environmental chemical exposures in a case-control study involving dogs at high risk of urothelial carcinoma, identified by a BRAF V595E mutation in urinary epithelial cells. Cases ( = 25) exhibited low-level BRAF mutations, while controls ( = 76) were matched dogs without the mutation.
