A technique is described for capturing relative dental implant positions for an implant-supported fixed prosthesis in a completely edentulous arch with a novel implant indexing apparatus that also functions as a scannable verification device. A series of intraoral scans are made to record the contours and occlusal records of the existing prosthetics and soft tissue. The individual scans are aligned by using a dental software program to design either an interim or definitive prosthesis. The technique reduces the time needed to gather the records dental laboratory technicians require to fabricate a complete arch implant-supported prosthesis.

Statement Of Problem: Different factors affect 3-dimensionally (3D) printed resin products. However, evidence on the effect of the print orientation on resin dental devices is lacking.
Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to assess the impact of print orientation on the properties and accuracy of 3D printed implant surgical guides, occlusal devices, clear orthodontic retainers, and aligners.

Background: Same-day discharge (SDD) has been adopted for interventional cardiology procedures, however, data on patient experience are scarce.
Aims: To investigate patient-reported experience after various SDD electrophysiology procedures.
Methods: Consecutive patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, who fulfilled pre-defined eligibility criteria for SDD, completed the questionnaire before discharge.

Introduction: Previous studies have proposed forced expiratory volume in 0.5s (FEV) to determine health outcomes in infants and young children, but few studies exist in adults. This study aims to investigate the associations between FEV and all-cause mortality in adults.

Plasma thyroid hormone (TH) binding proteins (THBPs), including thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG), transthyretin (TTR), and albumin (ALB), carry THs to extrathyroidal sites, where THs are unloaded locally and then taken up via membrane transporters into the tissue proper. The respective roles of THBPs in supplying THs for tissue uptake are not completely understood. To investigate this, we developed a spatial human physiologically based kinetic (PBK) model of THs, which produces several novel findings.

This study aimed to compare the dimensional alterations of the dental arches and the palate symmetry in patients with unilateral complete cleft lip and palate before and after the performance of primary surgeries by different surgical techniques. The sample was divided into Group 1, G1 - cheiloplasty (Millard technique) and single-stage palatoplasty (von Langenbeck technique); Group 2, G2 - cheiloplasty (Millard technique) and two-stage palatoplasty (Hans Pichler and Sommerlad techniques). The digital dental models were evaluated before (Time 1, T1) and after (Time 2, T2) primary surgeries.
