Background: Pediatric bipolar disorder (PBD) with psychotic symptoms may predict more severe impairment in social functioning, but the underlying biological mechanisms remain unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate alterations in subcortical structural volume in PBD with and without psychotic symptoms.
Methods: We recruited 24 psychotic PBD (P-PBD) patients, 24 non-psychotic PBD (NP-PBD) patients, and 18 healthy controls (HCs).

This laboratory study aims to assess the effects of misaligning different trifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) under varying spectral and corneal spherical aberration (SA) conditions. With an IOL metrology device under monochromatic and polychromatic conditions, the following models were studied: AT ELANA 841P, AT LISA Tri 839MP, FineVision HP POD F, Acrysof IQ PanOptix, and Tecnis Synergy ZFR00V. The SA was simulated using an aberration-free and average-SA cornea.

Protein-enriched yogurts have become increasingly popular among consumers seeking to boost their daily protein intake. The incorporation of milk proteins and protein preparations in yogurt production not only enhances nutritional value but also improves texture, viscosity, and overall sensory properties-key factors that influence consumer acceptance. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of casein and whey protein preparations on the physicochemical properties, viability of lactic acid bacteria, and sensory attributes of yogurts.
