Background: The best tool for the management of pain associated with distal symmetric peripheral neuropathy (DSPN) is a matter of debate. Therefore, the study aimed to explore whether ultrasound-guided pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) therapy of the stellate ganglion (SG) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with painful DSPN could decrease pain severity and the need for analgesics.
Methods: Fifty-six T2DM patients with refractory painful DSPN were enrolled in this study, who then received bilateral ultrasound-guided PRF therapy of SG.

Patients diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) have a poor prognosis with survival ranging 2-3 years. The prevalence of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) amplification is approximately 3-4% in mCRC and increases up to 8% in patients with // wild-type (WT) CRC tumors. Tucatinib is a highly selective HER2-directed tyrosine kinase inhibitor that, in combination with trastuzumab, has demonstrated clinically meaningful activity in patients with chemotherapy-refractory, HER2-positive (HER2+), WT mCRC in the MOUNTAINEER trial.

We presented a 7-year-old boy with refractory Epileptic Encephalopathy with Spike-and-Wave Activation in Sleep (EE-SWAS) successfully managed with a combination of propofol and midazolam. His seizures began at age 2, initially controlled by multiple antiseizure medications (ASMs) for almost three years. At age 5, seizures recurred with electroencephalography (EEG) showing electrical status epilepticus in sleep (ESES) and a spike-wave index (SWI) of 85 %.

Background: Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) is a common cause of clinically refractory infertility, and there exists significant heterogeneity in the treatment outcomes among IUA patients with the similar severity after transcervical resection of adhesion(TCRA). Introduction: Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) have poor outcomes in the relapsed/refractory (R/R) setting. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of dexamethasone, L-asparaginase, ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide (DL-ICE) chemotherapy followed by allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in patients with R/R PTCLs.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 80 adult patients with R/R PTCLs treated with DL-ICE chemotherapy between September 2009 and March 2023.
