Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disease in which the loss of bone mineral density causes the bone to become weaker and more susceptible to fracture. In the vulnerable individual, osteoporosis develops as a result of a combination of hereditary and environmental risk factors. The definition of the term osteoporosis as a clinical syndrome has evolved with the improved understanding of the pathogenesis, diagnostic terminology and treatment directions both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, over the past few decades.

Fruits are excellent sources of substrate for various fermented products, including fruit vinegars, which are typically produced by submerged fermentation. Some evidence suggests that fruit vinegar consumption can alleviate certain disorders, including hyperlipidemia, inflammation, and hyperglycemia. Fruit vinegars also have bacteriostatic and antihypertensive actions.

Ovarian agenesis (OA) is a rare congenital condition characterized by the absence of one or both ovaries, often associated with chromosomal abnormalities, hormonal imbalances, and structural deformities. The condition is frequently diagnosed in females presenting with primary amenorrhea and delayed sexual development. This case report highlights a unique presentation of bilateral ovarian agenesis in a patient with chromosome X translocation, bone modeling disease, and primary amenorrhea.

Unlabelled: In patients receiving long-term treatment with denosumab, denosumab discontinuation via sequential treatment with zoledronate, resulted in a minor decrease in bone mass density (BMD) of 0-2.5% within the first year and stabile BMD in the second year, thus showing that repeated treatments with zoledronate limit the loss of BMD, when discontinuing denosumab.
Purpose: Discontinuing denosumab (DMAb) rapidly decreases bone mineral density (BMD) and increases the risk of multiple vertebral fractures.
