During a nematological survey in the Western Ghats a new nematode belonging to the superfamily Tylencholaimoida (Dorylaimida) extracted from the rhizosphere of the soil of grasses, is described and illustrated. , is characterized by females with a body length of 1.3-1.4 mm; lip region 8.0 μm wide, approximately one-fourth of the body diameter at the pharyngeal base; amphidial fovea cup-shaped, about one-half as wide as the lip region diameter. Odontostyle 8.0-9.0 μm long, 1.0-1.1 times lip region diameter; guiding ring simple; odontophore rod-like, 10.5-11.5 μm long with basal thickening or minute knobs-like structure; pharynx consisting of a weakly muscular anterior part, expanding abruptly into a cylindrical basal bulb, occupying about two-fifths to one-half of the total pharyngeal length; female genital system monodelphic-opisthodelphic with anterior uterine sac; vulval opening pore-like, and tail elongated with a slight dorsally curved tip. Aims And Background: The study of the morphology of soft tissues as well as hard tissues of the orofacial region holds prime importance. A very less information is known about the lips (soft tissues) and maxillo-mandibular arches (hard tissue structures) in primary dentition. Henceforth, there is a need to classify, find the prevalence and correlation of various lip shapes, and arch forms in primary dentition.

Aim: To compare three-dimensional (3D) facial morphology of various unilateral cleft subphenotypes at 9-years of age to normative data using a general face template and automatic landmarking. The secondary objective is to compare facial morphology of 9-year-old children with unilateral fusion to differentiation defects.

Methods: 3D facial stereophotogrammetric images of 9-year-old unilateral cleft patients were imported into 3DMedX® for processing.

: Surgical treatment of extensive tumors of the lower lip generates important defects in its structure and functions. Over time, a multitude of reconstruction options for these defects have been imagined. Unfortunately, the majority involve the use of both local and regional flaps, which either lack labial structure or disorganize the oral commissures as nodal oral function points.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) and proteinuria each independently raise the risk of atrial fibrillation (AF). We aimed to investigate the relationship between proteinuria and the risk of incident AF across glycemic stages.

Methods: A cohort of 4,044,524 individuals without prior AF and type 1 DM was selected from the 2009 Korean National Health Insurance Service health checkup data.

Objective: To establish a similarity measurement model for patients with dentofacial deformity based on 3D craniofacial features and to validate the similarity results with quantifying subjective expert scoring.

Methods: In the study, 52 cases of patients with skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusions who underwent bimaxillary surgery and preoperative orthodontic treatment at Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from January 2020 to December 2022, including 26 males and 26 females, were selected and divided into 2 groups by sex. One patient in each group was randomly selected as a reference sample, and the others were set as test samples.
