The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales-3rd Edition (Vineland-3) is one of the most used measures of adaptive behavior among those with sodium channel protein type 2 subunit alpha related disorders (SCN2A-RDs). Several disease-modifying treatments are in early trials for SCN2A-RDs, and as such, clinical outcome assessments (COAs) are necessary. The Vineland-3 introduced growth scale values (GSVs), which are useful for measuring within-person change and thus may be useful in future clinical trials.

Expanding access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has been endorsed as a key HIV prevention strategy; however, uptake among people who inject drugs (PWID) has been negligible in rural areas. Syringe services programs (SSPs) have been implemented throughout Kentucky's Appalachian region, providing an important opportunity to integrate PrEP services.

In modern dentistry, prosthetic approaches such as implants and dentures have been developed as symptomatic solutions for tooth loss. However, the complete regeneration of teeth and periodontal tissue, an ultimate aspiration of humanity, remains unachieved. Recent advancements in fundamental scientific technologies, including single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, have significantly advanced our molecular understanding of tooth development, paving the way toward achieving this goal.
