This paper presents a sensor based localization system to localize active implantable medical devices i.e., Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE). The importance of localizing the capsule arises once the images from the capsule detect the abnormalities in the Gastrointestinal tract (GI). A successful system can determine the location that associated with the abnormality for further medical investigation or treatment. The system proposed in this paper comprises a rotational platform that consists of magnetic sensors to detect the position of the embedded magnet in the capsule. The rotational platform provides advantageousness in terms of reducing the number of the sensors and increasing the monitoring accuracy during the real time movement.

Weyl semimetals are a novel class of topological materials with unique electronic structures and distinct properties. HfRhGe stands out as a noncentrosymmetric Weyl semimetal with unconventional superconducting characteristics. Using muon-spin rotation and relaxation (µSR) spectroscopy and thermodynamic measurements, a fully gapped superconducting state is identified in HfRhGe that breaks time-reversal symmetry at the superconducting transition.

The incorporation of photoactive organic dyes into layered inorganic materials enhances their optical and chemical properties, making them ideal for sensing applications. In this study, Bisindolyl methane (BIM)-based neutral probes were integrated with bentonite clay to explore their sensing capabilities. Probe 1 (unoxidized BIM) and Probe 2 (oxidized BIM) generally exhibited quenched luminescence in solution due to intramolecular rotations.

Rapid, point-of-care tests are critical for early diagnosis of disease and detection of biological threats. Lateral flow immunoassays (LFIAs) are well-suited for point-of-care testing due to their ease of use and straightforward readout. However, limitations in sensitivity, quantification, and integration into sample-to-result systems indicate the need for further advancements.

The Stabilization of bubble magnetic textures in zero magnetic field has garnered significant attention due to its potential application in spintronic devices. Herein, we employed a home-built rotatable magnetic force microscopy (MFM) to observe the evolution of magnetic domains in NiO/Ni/Ti thin films. Magnetic stripe domains decay into isolated magnetic bubbles under an out-of-plane magnetic field at 100 K, and magnetic stripes reappear when the external magnetic field is reduced to zero.
