is a new taxon constituting an emerging species of human pathogenic , which shares morphological features with . However, is more invasive and more easily disseminated, and it exhibits distinctive antibiotic susceptibility. Few clinical cases related to infection have been reported, and hydrarthrosis has not been described. Here, we analyzed the case information, diagnostic process, treatment, and prognosis of a patient with hydrarthrosis who received treatment in Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital. Magnetic resonance imaging showed joint cavity effusion and soft tissue swelling with high signal on proton density-fat saturated images and low signal on T1-weighted images. Oil microscopy revealed abundant acid-fast-positive filaments in hydrarthrosis puncture fluid. The pathogen was identified as by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry. In contrast to the 100% ciprofloxacin resistance displayed by , this clinical isolate of was completely susceptible. In summary, this is the first report of in joint effusion from a patient with arthritis.

Background: Mixed dementia type - Alzheimer's Disease (AD), cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), and vascular - is vastly recognized as a cause of dementia in older adults. Whereas CAA, primarily leptomeningeal, is a frequent complication in hereditary transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (TTRCA), it is unusually reported in association with wild-type TTR, with or without polyneuropathy. The knowledge of mixed dementia and wild-type TTR association is even scarcer.

Background: According to the conventional postoperative procedure after total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) for end-stage osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), mobilization and weight-bearing are currently started after completion of wound healing. Recently, an early rehabilitation program after cemented TAA with a modified anterolateral approach has been attempted because this approach could provide stable wound healing. To investigate the possibility of expediting rehabilitation, this study evaluated the feasibility, safety, and universality of an early rehabilitation program after cemented TAA using a modified anterolateral approach, even when a surgeon was completely changed.

Objectives: To identify factors associated with probable sarcopenia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods: Probable sarcopenia was diagnosed using the SARC-F questionnaire. Patients with difficult-to-treat RA (D2T-RA) were defined as those with a history of using ≥2 biological/targeted synthetic (b/ts) disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (b/tsDMARDs) who had moderate or high disease activity.
