The study aimed to assess the level of knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding high salt intake and their association with hypertension among rural women of a selected community in Chandpur.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was adopted to collect data from 250 households of Chandpur district.

Objectives: To investigate the correlation between gastric xanthoma (GX) and precancerous lesions (PCL) and gastric cancer (GC), and to explore other potential risk factors for PCL and GC in northwest China.
Methods: A case-control study was conducted from September 2022 to September 2023 at Xijing Hospital, Air Force Medical University (Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China). The patients who underwent gastroscopy were enrolled and divided into the chronic gastritis (CG) group (n = 423), PCL group (n = 422), and GC group (n = 415).

Background: A 12-month cluster randomized controlled trial (RCT) demonstrated the effectiveness of an application-based education program in reducing the salt intake and systolic blood pressure (SBP) of schoolchildren's adult family members. This study aimed to assess whether the effect at 12 months persisted at 24 months.
Methods: Fifty-four schools were randomly assigned to either the intervention or control group.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and hypertension are interconnected, worsening each other. Recent studies have shown that the reduction of peroxiredoxin 5 (Prdx5) accelerates kidney fibrosis, a hallmark of CKD. This study aims to observe whether the deficiency of Prdx5 also contributes to the worsening of CKD-related hypertension.
