We assessed the relation of creativity and unethical behaviour by manipulating the thinking style of participants ( = 450 adults) and measuring the impact of this manipulation on the prevalence of dishonest behaviour. Participants performed one of three inducer tasks: the alternative uses task to promote divergent thinking, the remote associates task to promote convergent thinking, or a simple classification task for rule-based thinking. Before and after this manipulation, participants conducted the mind game as a straightforward measure of dishonesty. Dishonest behaviour increased from before to after the intervention, but we found no credible evidence that this increase differed between induced mindsets. Exploratory analyses did not support any relation of trait creativity and dishonesty either. We conclude that the influence of creative thinking on unethical behaviour seems to be more ambiguous than assumed in earlier research or might be restricted to specific populations or contexts.

This paper addresses the issue of the high-precision control of substrate tension in an accumulator during the roll-to-roll coating process. First, a coupling model for tension errors in the substrate within the accumulator is established, along with dynamic models for the input-output rollers, carriage, and the thrust model of the ball screw. Based on these models, a simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink to analyze the main causes of substrate tension errors in the accumulator under uncontrolled conditions.

Individuals with Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), an immune-modulated disorder, experience exacerbation-related neuropsychiatric symptoms, functional impairments, and high rates of developmental diagnosis. The literature describes links between giftedness and mental illness, and giftedness and autoimmune disorders. We sought to explore rates of giftedness among children with PANS as perceived by their caregivers, and to examine whether giftedness was related to PANS symptom severity, persistence, or duration.

Background: In this study, we aimed to determine the presence of any potential gender differences and relationships in terms of creativity, physical activity (PA), motor fitness, and motor creativity in children aged 8-9 years.
Methods: The study included 195 primary school children (92 girls and 103 boys) aged 8-9 years old from grade 2. To determine creativity, the Test for Creative Thinking-Drawing Production was used, while motor creativity was assessed using Torrance's 'Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement' test.

Background/objectives: The environmental crisis has begun as a daily challenge for present and forthcoming generations. This scenario highlights the need to adopt many pro-environmental strategies to avoid its adverse consequences. Consequently, it is of paramount importance to comprehend the fundamental psychological and cognitive characteristics that may encourage young children to participate in Pro-Environmental Behaviours (PEBs).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of housing in controlling the spread of the virus was limited, as policies primarily focused on short-term measures such as lockdowns and social distancing. As the pandemic recedes, a shift has occurred towards restructuring the environment to confront future health crises better. This research thoroughly evaluates existing literature and housing complexes.
