As part of a new MBBS Curriculum at GKT Medical School, King's College London, second year medical students undertook a clinical humanities assignment during their longitudinal GP placement. Groups of students all produced a humanities output relating to medicine and patient care in the community. This article explores the experiences from the student perspective and key learning points for subsequent cohorts, identifying four themes from the feedback obtained in a student evaluation: Broadening horizons; teamworking and leadership, wider community care involvement and seeing patients through different eyes.

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of 12-weeks hybrid virtual coaching on health-related quality-of-life (HrQoL) in patients with stable COPD.
Methods: We equipped all patients with a CAir Desk for telemonitoring, the intervention group additionally received hybrid virtual coaching through the built-in smartphone. The multimodal intervention based on the Living well with COPD programme, containing educational content, physical activity coaching, and home-based exercises.
Introduction: This study protocol specifies the primary research line and theoretical framework of the 2023 Survey of the Psychology and Behavior of the Chinese Population. It aims to establish a consistent database of Chinese residents' psychological and behavioral surveys through multi-center and large-sample cross-sectional surveys to provide robust data support for developing research in related fields. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed, and analyzed following the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) methodology. Thematic Analysis was used to explore themes in the narratives.

Basophilic granulocytes, containing and releasing histamine after a specific allergy stimulation, are directly involved in IgE-mediated allergic reactions. CD63 is a transmembrane protein of secretory lysosomes of basophils and its upregulation is related with the release of histamine to the extracellular space during IgE-mediated allergic reactions. Basophil activation test (BAT) measures the activation of circulating basophils upon the stimulation of living blood cells with specific allergens.
