In this article, we present the development of a mini scanner device to characterize the full transverse spatial density of a charged particle beam using computed tomography. The profiler consists of a wire mounted on a linear translator that can rotate around the beam. Tests were performed on a millimeter electron beam with 200 eV energy and 100 nA intensity, which allowed us to control and monitor both beam focusing and deflection.

Background And Purpose: Parkinson disease (PD) is defined by its unique motor symptoms, where responsiveness to levodopa (L-DOPA) is fundamental for management. Recent research has highlighted a significant relationship between PD symptoms and glymphatic dysfunction. This study endeavors to clarify the connection between glymphatic system functionality and initial motor symptoms in PD, utilizing imaging biomarkers to determine its predictive capacity for L-DOPA responsiveness (LR).

Objective: This study aims to accurately classify ATN profiles using highly specific amyloid and tau PET ligands and MRI in patients with cognitive impairment and suspected Alzheimer's disease (AD). It also aims to explore the relationship between quantified amyloid and tau deposition and cognitive function.
Methods: Twenty-seven patients (15 women and 12 men; age range: 64-81 years) were included in this study.

Abnormal trochlear morphology is one of the most important factors for patellar luxation occurrence in dogs, yet no studies have investigated its prevalence in the general population. This retrospective computed tomography study was designed to evaluate the trochlear groove morphology in four small dog breeds and the prevalence of trochlear dysplasia types according to Déjour's classification depending on the breed, sex, and medial patellar luxation (MPL) presence and grade. A total of 174 joints (68 healthy, 96 grade II MPL, and 10 grade III MPL) from Mini-Pinschers, Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranians, and Chihuahuas were included in the study.

Background: Current management of patients with borderline resectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma (BR-PDAC) depends on the degree of involvement of the major arterial and venous structures. The aim of this study was to evaluate 3D segmentation and printing to predict tumor size and vascular involvement of BR-PDAC to improve pre-operative planning of vascular resection and better select patients for neoadjuvant therapy.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 16 patients with BR-PDAC near vascular structures who underwent pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) with or without vascular resection between 2015 and 2021.

Objective: To study the influence of bracket base meshes on shear bond strength and observe them using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) before and after debonding.
Methods: Ninety brackets were divided into nine groups of 10 samples each: G1-Alexander, G2-Mini Sprint Brackets, G3-In-Ovation R CCO, G4-Gemini SL Self-Ligating Bracket, G5-Classic mini 2G Stylus, G6-Gemini Metal Brackets, G7-Clarity Advanced, G8-Crystall-Ize, and G9-Ceramic Series Flexx 2G. Groups G1 to G6 and G7 to G9 consisted of metallic and aesthetic brackets, respectively.
