Programmable and modular systems capable of orthogonal genomic and transcriptomic perturbations are crucial for biological research and treating human genetic diseases. Here, we present the minimal versatile genetic perturbation technology (mvGPT), a flexible toolkit designed for simultaneous and orthogonal gene editing, activation, and repression in human cells. The mvGPT combines an engineered compact prime editor (PE), a fusion activator MS2-p65-HSF1 (MPH), and a drive-and-process multiplex array that produces RNAs tailored to different types of genetic perturbation.

Background: Manual contour corrections during fractionated magnetic resonance (MR)-guided radiotherapy (MRgRT) are time-consuming. Conventional population models for deep learning auto-segmentation might be suboptimal for MRgRT at MR-Linacs since they do not incorporate manual segmentation from treatment planning and previous fractions.

Purpose: In this work, we investigate patient-specific (PS) auto-segmentation methods leveraging expert-segmented planning and prior fraction MR images (MRIs) to improve auto-segmentation on consecutive treatment days.

Background: Internal bleeding is a common and serious complication in trauma patients. The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) and the World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES) have developed comprehensive guidelines to standardize and optimize the care of these patients. In Germany, abdominal injuries are involved in around 20% of all polytraumas, often caused by falls or road traffic accidents.

Paraduodenal hernias are rare internal hernias in which the small intestine becomes trapped behind the mesentery of the colon. These hernias can lead to bowel obstruction and ischaemia, making early diagnosis and intervention crucial. Patients often exhibit non-specific symptoms, highlighting the importance of using CT imaging for diagnosis.

Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy, Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi, Delhi, India.

Gastric malignancy is one of the most common malignancies diagnosed worldwide. Over the past many decades, extensive research has been made into the risk factors, pathogenesis and prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma. However, gastric adenocarcinoma of the fundic gland (GA-FG) has been recently defined, and not much is known about its risk factors and pathogenesis.
