As surgeons, we strive to recognize and correct any mistakes that may occur before completing an operation, and importantly, do our best to avoid irreversible mistakes. Over-resection of the femoral cam lesion in patients having hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome has been considered irreversible. While cam under-resection is a technical complication of femoroacetabular impingement surgery to be avoided, avoiding this at the expense of over-resection of the proximal femur is of great concern.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate optical coherence tomography (OCT) characteristics in hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) retinopathy and their correlation with visual acuity among Taiwanese patients.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively recruited patients undergoing long-term HCQ treatment who had received examinations of best-corrected visual acuity and OCT scans. We observed disruptions in the ellipsoid zone (EZ) and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) across different retinal regions.

In combining these etiology groups, we obligatorily lump together many disparate diagnoses, particularly true in the neuromuscular (NM) cohort. We sought to evaluate the influence of underlying neuromuscular diagnosis on the HrQOL at 5 years following surgery for EOS.
