Aim: To explore the physicians' knowledge, awareness, and perspectives on HRQoL and mental health aspects of people with T2DM in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey study was conducted over a three-month period (October to December 2022) on 54 physicians. Physicians were requested to respond to a 12-item researcher-designed, self-administered survey questionnaire that explored their perspectives regarding the importance of their patients' general, physical, and mental health aspects using the 12-item Short Form Health Survey Version 2 (SF-12v2).

The development of an effective and broadly protective influenza vaccine against circulating and emerging strains remains elusive. In this study, we evaluated a potentially universal influenza vaccine based on single-component self-assembling protein nanoparticles (1c-SApNPs) presenting the conserved matrix protein 2 ectodomain (M2e) from influenza A and B viruses (IAV and IBV, respectively). We previously designed a tandem antigen comprising three IAV M2e domains of human, avian/swine, and human/swine origins (termed M2ex3).

Background: Inclusion of additional influenza A/H3N2 strains in seasonal influenza vaccines could expand coverage against multiple, antigenically distinct, cocirculating A/H3N2 clades and potentially replace the no longer circulating B/Yamagata strain. We aimed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of three next-generation seasonal influenza mRNA vaccines with different compositions that encode for haemagglutinins of multiple A/H3N2 strains, with or without the B/Yamagata strain, in adults.

Methods: This randomised, open-label, phase 1/2 trial enrolled healthy adults aged 50-75 years across 22 sites in the USA.

Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Changsha 410011, China.

Objectives: Ventricular septal defect (VSD) is a prevalent congenital cardiac anomaly. By enhancing the occluder design and optimizing procedural approaches, the indications for VSD closure can be broadened while minimizing associated complications. The utilization of fully biodegradable occluder holds promising potential in resolving conduction block issues encountered during VSD closure.

Background: Men who have sex with men (MSM) are more vulnerable to acquiring sexually transmitted infections (STIs). In 2019, for instance, 74% of European (Ng) cases among males affected MSM. A recent report by the World Health Organization showed that most of the 2020' interim targets to end STIs by 2030 had not been met.
