Background: Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) and severe asthma (SA) are 2 frequently coexisting conditions that are, in most cases, associated with eosinophilic inflammation. The concurrence of both diseases has a negative synergistic impact on disease severity and patients' health-related quality of life. Thus, a holistic, collaborative management of these patients is a critical unmet need.

Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic and progressive immune-mediated esophageal disorder. Given its increasing incidence, it is now a leading cause of dysphagia and food impaction in the United States. Eosinophilic esophagitis is most common in adult White men and has a high concurrence rate with other atopic conditions like allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, and eczema.

Background: Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a systemic disease that involves the infiltration of IgG4-positive plasma cells in multiple organs. Kimura disease (KD) presents as subcutaneous masses on the head and neck, frequently accompanied by eosinophilia and high immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels. Here, we report a rare case of concurrence of IgG4-RD and KD with manifestations of asthma, pulmonary embolism, and central diabetes insipidus accompanied by lung carcinoma.

Dear Editor, Linear immunoglobulin (Ig) A bullous dermatosis (LABD), one subtype of subepidermal autoimmune bullous skin diseases (AIBDs), is characterized by linear deposit of only IgA along the basement membrane zone (BMZ) on direct immunofluorescence (DIF) (1,2). Patients showing linear deposits of both IgA and IgG are diagnosed with linear IgA/IgG bullous dermatosis (LAGBD) (3,4). Dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) is another type of subepidermal AIBD characterized by clinically pruritic erythematous skin lesions with vesicles on the elbows, knees, and buttocks with granular IgA deposits of IgA by DIF (5).
