Theranostic Imaging Surrogates for Targeted Alpha Therapy: Progress in Production, Purification, and Applications.

This article highlights recent developments of SPECT and PET diagnostic imaging surrogates for targeted alpha particle therapy (TAT) radiopharmaceuticals. It outlines the rationale for using imaging surrogates to improve diagnostic-scan accuracy and facilitate research, and the properties an imaging-surrogate candidate should possess. It evaluates the strengths and limitations of each potential imaging surrogate. Thirteen surrogates for TAT are explored: La, La, Ce/La, and Ac for Ac TAT; Pb for Pb TAT; Ba for Ra and Ra TAT; I, I, I and At for At TAT; Ce/La for Th TAT; and Tb and Tb for Tb TAT.

Numerous diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, can lead to retinal neovascularization, which can seriously impair the visual function and potentially result in blindness. The presence of the blood-retina barrier makes it challenging for ocularly administered drugs to penetrate physiological barriers and reach the ocular posterior segments, including the retina and choroid. Herein, we developed an innovative bifunctional peptide, Tat-C-RP7, which exhibits excellent penetration capabilities and antiangiogenic properties aimed at treating retinal neovascularization diseases.

In this study, we present the design, synthesis, and utilization of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) formed by the condensation of , , -tris(4-(aminomethyl)benzyl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine and 2,4,6-tris(4-formylphenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine on which silica is immobilized (TPT-TAT/silica) as an innovative catalyst for porphyrins synthesis. Under solvothermal conditions, the condensation of triamine and trialdehyde precursors led to the formation of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) with a high nitrogen content. The resulting CTF is characterized by its extensive porosity and elevated nitrogen levels, which are critical for the creation of catalytic active sites.

This study aims to investigating the predictive value of the Caprini score combined with thrombus molecular markers for the risk of DVT in patients after traumatic fracture surgery. This study suggests an enhanced version of the adaptive fuzzy fast terminal synergetic controller (AF-FTSC) for controlling the uncertain DC/DC buck converter based on the synergetic theory of control (STC) and newly developed terminal attractor technique (TAT). The benefits of the proposed SC algorithm involve the features of finite-time convergence, unaffected by parameter variations, and chattering-free phenomenon. A type-1 fuzzy logic system (T1-FLS) make the considered controller more robust and is utilized to estimate the undefined converter nonlinear dynamics without resorting to the usual linearization and simplifications of the converter model.
