Objective: The highly specialized language used in prostate biopsy pathology reports coupled with low rates of health literacy leave some patients unable to comprehend their medical information. Patients' use of online search engines can lead to misinterpretation of results and emotional distress. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) could simplify complex texts and help patients.

Purpose: To evaluate the impact of Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) implantation on anterior chamber angle parameters and posterior segment structures in highly myopic eyes and explore potential correlations between these changes. The study aimed to assess alterations in superficial and deep vessel density (SVD, DVD), foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area, and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness to clarify the safety profile of ICL implantation.
Methods: Prospective observational study, included 36 highly myopic eyes undergoing ICL implantation in surgery group and 23 non-surgical control eyes in non-surgery group.

Purpose: To evaluate postoperative visual outcomes on postoperative day 1 (POD1) after lenticule extraction in myopia astigmatism in a large cohort of over 1350 consecutive treatments.
Methods: A retrospective review chart identified 1357 eyes consecutively treated with SCHWIND ATOS using lenticule extraction for myopic astigmatism who had at least 6 months of follow-up completed and for which POD1 was completely recorded. The standard visual and refractive outcomes, and astigmatism outcomes, were analyzed on POD1.

Background: Autistic people and transgender/gender diverse people experience poorer healthcare experiences and greater risk of diagnosed, suspected, and assessment recommended health conditions, compared to non-autistic and cisgender individuals, respectively. Despite this, there is a paucity of studies on the healthcare experiences and health outcomes of transgender/gender diverse autistic individuals.
Methods: We compared the healthcare experiences and health outcomes of cisgender autistic (n = 1094), transgender/gender diverse autistic (n = 174), and cisgender non-autistic adults (n = 1295) via an anonymous, self-report survey.

The use of single-guide RNA (sgRNA) for gene editing using the CRISPR Cas9 system has become a powerful technique in various fields, especially with the growing interest in such molecules as therapeutic options in the last years. An important parameter for the use of these molecules is the verification of the correct sgRNA oligonucleotide sequence. Apart from next-generation sequencing protocols, mass spectrometry (MS) has been proven as a powerful technique for this purpose.
