Introduction: There is a worldwide trend toward 'revisiting' cemented total hip arthroplasty (THA). In Japan, however, cemented THAs accounts for 11%, and the percentage of cemented hemiarthroplasty is estimated to be less than 10%. This review was designed to reconsider the option of cemented THA and to encourage policy changes in Japan to support the best possible care for patients.

Since the early 2000s, malaria cases in Cambodia have declined steadily. Village malaria workers (VMWs) have played a critical role in reducing malaria transmission and progress towards malaria elimination. To prevent malaria re-establishment, however, implementation strategies need to consider carefully the changing healthcare needs in the communities as well as challenges to, and opportunities for, programme adaptation.

Diabetes mellitus is defined as a group of metabolic diseases characterized by chronic hyperglycemia based on insufficient insulin action. At present, treatment for diabetes aims to prevent micro- and macrovascular complications. Although advances have been made in methods of controlling the risk factors of complications, including blood glucose management, there is still no effective treatment to cure diabetes.
