Anterior segment dysgenesis exerts its influence on a diverse array of ocular structures, encompassing the cornea, iris, ciliary body, anterior chamber and lens. We present a 20-month-old boy with bilateral corneal opacity. The visual acuity (VA) was 6/480 in both eyes.

Vetulicolians are an enigmatic phylum of extinct Cambrian marine invertebrates. They are particularly diverse in the Chengjiang Biota of China, but representatives have been recovered from other Fossil-Lagerstätten (Cambrian Stage 3-Drumian). These organisms are characterized by a bipartite body, which is split into an anterior section and a posterior segmented section connected by a narrow constriction.

Background: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is usually caused by acute occlusion of the cerebral artery. Bilateral anterior cerebral arteries (ACAs) originating from the anterior communicating branch of the same internal carotid artery are a rare anatomical variation in clinical practice. Mechanical thrombectomy (MT) of simultaneous acute occlusion of the bilateral ACAs with this variation has rarely been reported.

Purpose: This study aims to describe a newly identified clinical finding of central corneal subepithelial haze following keratoplasty (both penetrating and lamellar) with interrupted sutures, and to explore its causes and management strategies.
Methods: Case series.
Results: The study included 7 males and 3 females, with an average age of 24.
