Background: Postoperative pneumonia (POP) predicts poor outcomes after lung surgery, especially for patients undergoing sleeve lobectomy. Fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) is frequently used in the treatment of POP for patients receiving sleeve lobectomy. Background: Given the prevalence of cardiovascular disease, encountering difficult airways in this patient population is quite common. The challenge for anesthesiologists lies not only in establishing the airway but also in managing the hemodynamic instability caused by sympathetic activation during intubation. The purpose of this report is to describe the anesthetic experience of this patient with severe mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, and moderate pulmonary hypertension with an anticipated difficult airway.

Hydatid disease is endemic in Tunisia. Whereas uncomplicated pulmonary hydatid cysts are easily diagnosed on radiological findings, complicated and atypical forms may be misdiagnosed and confused with other pulmonary lesions, mainly lung malignancies. We report a case of a 47-year-old woman, who presented with a 3-month history of hemoptysis.

Although infection with is generally self-limited, it may cause refractory or life-threatening pneumonia with pulmonary or extrapulmonary complications. Necrotizing bronchitis is a rare condition with a high mortality rate. The present report describes a patient with mycoplasma pneumonia and necrotizing bronchitis that caused airway obstruction.
