XPS and HR TEM Elucidation of the Diversity of Titania-Supported Single-Site Ir Catalyst Performance in Spin-Selective Propene Hydrogenation. | LitMetric
Immobilized [Ir(COD)Cl]-Linker/TiO catalysts with linkers containing Py, P(Ph) and N(CH) functional groups were prepared. The catalysts were tested via propene hydrogenation with parahydrogen in a temperature range from 40 °C to 120 °C which was monitored via NMR. The catalytic behavior of [Ir(COD)Cl]-Linker/TiO is explained on the basis of quantitative and qualitative XPS data analysis performed for the catalysts before and after the reaction at 120 °C. It is shown that the temperature dependence of propene conversion and the enhancement of the NMR signal are explained via a combination of the stabilities of both the linker and immobilized [Ir(COD)Cl] complex. It is demonstrated that the N(CH)-linker is the most stable at the surface of TiO under used reaction conditions. As a result, only this sample shows a rise in the enhancement of the NMR signal in the 100-120 °C temperature range.
1,2,3-triazole-based ring connected with pyridazine, triazine, methyl pyrazole, diphenyl pyrazole, and pthalimide moieties through propylene linker have been synthesized for antidiabetic evaluation via click chemistry. The antidiabetic evaluations have been done by molecular docking studies and in- vitro tests and against the DPP-4 enzyme. Direct epoxidation of propylene (CH) with hydrogen (H) and oxygen (O) over the Au/TS-1 catalyst is known as the "Holy Grail" reaction for propylene oxide (PO) synthesis. However, Au nanoparticle loading on TS-1 was limited by traditional deposition precipitation, impregnation and could not achieve ideal catalytic results. In this report, alkaline-assisted excessive impregnation helped to remove Cl from the Au impregnation precursor, improve the loading efficiency of Au nanoparticles and overcome the abnormal growth of nanograins.
The study developed strong and water-resistant edible films using curdlan as the main ingredient and various plasticizers like glycerol and ethylene glycol.
Advanced techniques like FTIR, XRD, and SEM were used to assess the films' properties before and after adding plasticizers, revealing that these additives changed the film's structure and improved flexibility.
Glycerol was found to be the most effective plasticizer, significantly increasing the film's extensibility, making CL-GLY films promising for sustainable food packaging solutions.

Both nanocellulose and graphene nanosheets serve as exceptional fillers for biopolymers.
