We hypothesized that "long latency reflexes" (LLRs), associated segmental reflex (SR), and mixed nerve silent periods (MnSPs) recorded on the distal upper extremity muscles would behave differently in patients with cervical dystonia and focal hand dystonia. We enrolled patients with cervical dystonia, generalized dystonia, focal hand dystonia, and healthy individuals. We recorded SR, LLRs, and MnSPs. The mean amplitude of SR on the affected side of focal hand dystonia was significantly lower ( = 0.010). The parameters related to LLRs and MnSPs were not different between groups. We suggest, using SR, LLRs, and MnSPs, we could not show an electrophysiological signature specific to dystonia.

Subacute-to-chronic gait instability has a broad differential diagnosis. The neurological exam can help elucidate the localization and suggest an underlying etiology of the symptomatology, which can lead to a more focused diagnostic approach. Two patients are described - 1 with a month of worsening difficulty with ambulation that evolved to bilateral hand discoordination and another with 18 months of progressive difficulty with ambulation that also then progressed to involve her bilateral hands.

Purpose Of Program: Canada's growing prevalence of people with kidney failure receiving kidney replacement therapy has necessitated the expansion of dialysis programs. Although facility-based hemodialysis is the predominant dialysis modality in Canada, it is substantially costlier than home dialysis (peritoneal or home hemodialysis). Initiatives to increase the uptake of home dialysis typically consist of didactic and experiential education.

Background: Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) is a haematological malignancy which may occur in patients with textured breast implant history. While typically diagnosed at an early stage with good prognosis, it may present with local residual disease due to incomplete surgical excision.
Case Presentation: We describe the case of a 42 year-old woman with a history of bilateral breast augmentation for cosmetic purposes 21 years prior, who developed recurring seroma of the left side.

Introduction: A form of tenosynovial giant cell tumors (GCTs) that diffusely affects the soft tissue lining of joints and tendons is called pigmented villonodular synovitis or PVNS. About equal percentages of men and women are often affected, and it typically affects young individuals. The most typical sites of PVNS are the knee and ankle, making PVNS of the wrist a rare presentation.
