The success of home hemodialysis depends on several criteria. On the one hand, the patient's willingness to be autonomous, his or her degree of understanding, the technical feasibility at home, and the presence of a third party. Secondly, the quality of initial training (which must respect the patient's rhythm) and follow-up at home. This is a true patient-caregiver partnership, based on trust.
