Purpose: The harmony between the lips and the chin is an essential parameter in facial esthetics, and the mentolabial sulcus (MLS) represents the level of this harmony. This study aimed to assess the effect of MLS depth on facial profile attractiveness in long-face, short-face, and normal-face Iranian female individuals.
Methods: An observational study with a questionnaire was conducted, and a profile photograph of an Iranian female with class I occlusion was altered to create long-face, normal-face and short-face profiles with MLS depth ranging from 1 to 12 mm.

Background Multiparametric MRI, including contrast-enhanced sequences, is recommended for evaluating suspected prostate cancer, but concerns have been raised regarding potential contrast agent accumulation and toxicity. Purpose To evaluate the feasibility of generating simulated contrast-enhanced MRI from noncontrast MRI sequences using deep learning and to explore their potential value for assessing clinically significant prostate cancer using Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS) version 2.1.

Easy bruising and ecchymosis are common symptoms in clinical practice, yet distinguishing benign from clinically significant cases can be challenging. We report the case of a 46-year-old woman who presented in December 2023 with easy bruising and increased menstrual flow, revealing new-onset pancytopenia in laboratory tests. Initially diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia inversion (inv) (16), subsequent results were inconclusive, leading to a diagnosis of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).

Placenta percreta is a rare form of disorder found in the spectrum of placenta accreta and represents a considerable cause of maternal complications with an increase in mortality. The radiologist's role is essential due to the support of images acquired by magnetic resonance imaging, given their high sensitivity and specificity to predict the degree of placental invasion in substitution or accompaniment of the ultrasound study between 28 and 32 weeks of gestation. We present the case of a 29-year-old patient who was in her third pregnancy with a history of two cesarean sections at the ISSSTE Regional Hospital in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Background: Community acquired lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) is a leading cause for hospitalization in children and important cause for antibiotic prescription. We aimed to describe the aetiology of LRTI in children and analyse factors associated with bacterial or viral infection.
Methods: Patients aged < 19 years with a diagnosis of LRTI were identified from the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model Database of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital from January 2005-July 2019, and their clinical characteristics were obtained from the electronic medical records and retrospectively reviewed.
