This work aims to deal with the challenges associated with designing complementary bifunctional electrocatalysts and a separator/membrane that enables rechargeable zinc-air batteries (RZABs) with nearly solid-state operability. This solid-state RZAB was accomplished by integrating a bifunctional electrocatalyst based on Ru-RuO interface nanoparticles supported on nitrogen-doped (N-doped) graphene (Ru-RuO/NGr) and a dual-doped poly(acrylic acid) hydrogel (d-PAA) electrolyte soaked in KOH with sodium stannate additive. The catalyst shows enhanced activity and stability toward the two oxygen reactions, i.

Perovskite-organic tandem solar cells (P-O-TSCs) hold substantial potential to surpass the theoretical efficiency limits of single-junction solar cells. However, their performance is hampered by non-ideal interconnection layers (ICLs). Especially in n-i-p configurations, the incorporation of metal nanoparticles negatively introduces serious parasitic absorption, which alleviates photon utilization in organic rear cell and decisively constrains the maximum photocurrent matching with front cell.

This study systemically investigated the enantioselective bioaccumulation and degradation of etoxazole (ETZ) in earthworms along with the transcriptome and oxidative stress responses to ETZ enantiomer exposure. Based on the M-shaped bioaccumulation trends for ETZ enantiomers, -ETZ was found to be preferentially bioaccumulated in earthworms. Sublethal toxicity analysis showed that -ETZ induced greater changes in protein content, malondialdehyde content, detoxifying metabolic enzyme activity, and oxidative stress in earthworms, compared to those induced by -ETZ.
