Objective: This study explores whether hyaluronic acid (HA) of different molecular weights and collagen, given their role in tendon extracellular matrix maintenance, have a synergistic effect on human tendon-derived cells, with the aim to improve the treatment of tendinopathy.
Material: Human monocytes (CRL-9855™) and primary Achilles tendon-derived cells.
Treatment: The collagen/HA ratio was based on the formulation of the commercial food supplement TendoGenIAL™.

The ongoing soft actuation has accentuated the demand for dielectric elastomers (DEs) capable of large deformation to replace the traditional rigid mechanical apparatus. However, the low actuation strain of DEs considerably limits their practical applications. This work developed high-performance polyurethane-urea (PUU) elastomers featuring large actuation strains utilizing an approach of kinetic control over the microphase separation structure during the fabrication process.

The large amounts of attention directed towards the commercialization of renewable energy systems have motivated extensive research to develop non-precious-metal-based catalysts for promoting the electrochemical production of H and O from water. Here, we report promising technology, , electrochemical water splitting for OER and HER. This work used a simple hydrothermal method to synthesize a novel CoTe-FeC nanocomposite directly on a stainless-steel substrate.

The scientific establishment of the Ecological Security Pattern (ESP) is crucial for fostering the synergistic development of ecological and recreational functions, thereby enhancing urban ecological protection, recreational development, and sustainable growth. This study aimed to propose a novel method of constructing ESP considering both ecological and recreational functions, and to reconstruct ESP by weighing the relationship between ecological protection and recreational development. Utilizing Fuzhou City as a case study, a comprehensive application of methodologies including Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (MSPA), landscape connectivity analysis, ArcGIS spatial analysis, social network analysis (SNA), and circuit theory is employed to develop both the ESP and the Recreational Spatial Pattern (RSP).
