This study explored the application of mind mapping in the nursing care of neurology patients during the COVID-19 epidemic. Mind mapping was used to streamline and systematize all the links involved in the care process, from admission to discharge, giving nurses increased clarity in accurately implementing quality and safety measures.

Objective: We sought to determine the cost-effectiveness (CE) of lymph node dissection (LND) at the time of hysterectomy for endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia (EIN).

Methods: A decision analytic model was created to evaluate the strategies of routine full LND, sentinel lymph node dissection (SNLD), SNLD without advancing to full LND in the event of non-mapping, and full LND based on Mayo Criteria, versus no LND. Patients in the no LND group and those in the SLND group without advancement to full LND in the event of non-mapping who were found to have EC on final pathology and suspicious post-operative imaging underwent full LND.

The knowledge of "clinical molecular biology testing technology" is complex, conceptual expressions are abstract and difficult to understand, and the student's interest in learning is low. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a cyclic teaching method based on case analysis combined with an exploratory teaching method using mind mapping as an assignment. Students from the 2019 cohort of medical laboratory technology at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine served as the control group and received conventional lecture-based teaching methods.

Childhood maltreatment exposure (CME) increases the risk of adverse long-term health consequences for the exposed individual. Animal studies suggest that CME may also influence the health and behaviour in the next generation offspring through CME-driven epigenetic changes in the germ line. Here we investigated the associated between early life stress on the epigenome of sperm in humans with history of CME.

In data-based modeling, correlations between explanatory variables often lead to the formation of distinct gene blocks. This study focuses on identifying influential gene blocks and key variables within these blocks, with a particular application in mind: genotype-phenotype mapping in Saccharomyces. To overcome the challenges of a limited sample size, we use partial least squares (PLS).

The study of large-scale brain connectivity is increasingly adopting unsupervised approaches that derive low-dimensional spatial representations from high-dimensional connectomes, referred to as gradient analysis. When translating this approach to study interindividual variations in connectivity, one technical issue pertains to the selection of an appropriate group-level template to which individual gradients are aligned. Here, we compared different group-level template construction strategies using functional and structural connectome data from neurotypical controls and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to identify between-group differences.
