Diseases of the musculature can be caused, for example, by alimentary or traumatic issues. In three bald eagles with painful lameness and/or a reduced range of the hip joint, a muscular disease was diagnosed via radiographic examination. The eagles were kept in a falconry and trained as demonstration birds, which were displayed on a gloved hand and flown in falconry education programs.

Introduction: Complete hand degloving injuries are traumatic avulsion injuries causing the skin to pull away from the underlying tissues and are most often caused by industrial machinery. We present the case of a degloving trauma of the whole fingers, hand, and wrist resulting in a "watch hand" by analogy with the "ring finger" and discuss alternatives and recommendations from the rare cases described of similar traumas.
Case Presentation: A 33-year-old manual worker, a non-smoker with no significant medical or surgical comorbidities, was admitted for a complete skin avulsion of the left hand and wrist following a work-related accident with a trommel-type industrial roller.
This study addresses the challenges of Programming by Demonstration (PbD) in the context of collaborative robots, focusing on the need to provide additional degrees of programming without hindering the user's ability to demonstrate trajectories. PbD enables an intuitive programming of robots through demonstrations, allowing non-expert users to teach robot skills without coding. The two main PbD modalities, observational and kinesthetic, have limitations when it comes to programming the diverse functionalities offered by modern collaborative robots.

Tissue expansion (TE) is the primary method for breast reconstruction after mastectomy. In many cases, mastectomy patients undergo radiation treatment (XR). Radiation is known to induce skin fibrosis and is one of the main causes for complications during post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.

Traditional anti-impact armors and shields are normally made of stiff and hard materials and therefore deficient in flexibility. This greatly limits their applications in protecting objects with complex geometries or significant deformability. Flexible armors can be developed with the application of hard platelets and soft materials, but the lower rigidity of the flexible armors renders them incapable of providing sufficient resistance against impact attacks.
