Training mice to perform perceptual tasks is a vital part of integrative neuroscience. Replacing classical rewards like water with medial forebrain bundle (MFB) stimulation allows experimenters to avoid deprivation and obtain higher trial numbers per session. Here, we provide a protocol for implementing MFB-based reward in mice. We describe steps for MFB electrode implantation, efficacy testing, and stimulation calibration. After these steps, MFB reward can be used to facilitate sensory discrimination task training and enable nuanced characterization of psychophysical abilities. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Verdier et al. (2022)..

Objective: To evaluate the 36-month clinical performance of Single Bond Universal Adhesive (SBU; 3M ESPE, Germany) in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) using different modes of adhesion according to the FDI criteria. The primary outcome was the retention loss of the restorations, while the secondary outcomes included marginal staining, marginal adaptation, post-operative sensitivity and tooth vitality, recurrence of caries erosion and abfraction, and tooth integrity, all evaluated according to the FDI criteria.
Materials And Methods: In this study, the SBU Adhesive was applied to 246 NCCLs of 25 patients using different modes of adhesion: Self-etch (SE), selective-enamel-etching (SLE), and etch-and-rinse (ER).

Background: All for Them is a theory-based and evidence-informed multilevel, multicomponent program delivered through schools to increase HPV vaccination among medically underserved youth across Texas. Given the potential logistical challenges of program implementation, understanding how to best support the implementation and sustainment of the program is critical. The overall goals of this study are twofold: 1) develop a multifaceted implementation strategy, Implementing All for Them (IM-AFT); and 2) evaluate the impact of IM-AFT on implementation outcomes for schools and healthcare providers to successfully implement All for Them in their respective settings.

Chronic wounds are a syndrome that affects around 4% of the world population due to several pathologies. The COV-19 pandemic has enforced the need of developing new techniques and technologies that can help clinicians to monitor the affected patients easily and reliably. In this prospective observational study a new device, the Wound Viewer, that works through a memristor-based Discrete-Time Cellular Neural Network (DT-CNN) has been developed and tested through a clinical trial of 150 patients.
