Agrivoltaics, integrating photovoltaic systems with crop cultivation, demands semitransparent solar modules to mitigate soil shadowing. Perovskite Solar Cells (PSC) offer competitive efficiency, low fabrication costs, and high solar transmittance, making them suitable for agrivoltaic applications. However, the impact of PSC light filtering on plant growth and transcriptomics remains underexplored.

Gallium pnictides, such as GaAs and GaP, are among the most widely used semiconductors for electronic, optoelectronic, and photonic applications. However, solution syntheses of gallium pnictide nanomaterials are less developed than those of many other colloidal semiconductors, including indium pnictides, II-VI and IV-VI compounds, and lead halide perovskites. In this work, we demonstrate that the Wells dehalosilylation reaction can be carried out in molten inorganic salt solvents to synthesize colloidal GaAs, GaP, and GaPAs nanocrystals.

Recent advances in lead-free halide perovskites have expanded their potential use in solar panels and optoelectronic applications. Motivated by their excellent properties, we investigate the physical characteristics of two lead-free halide perovskites, TlMCl (M = Ge, Sn), under hydrostatic pressure. This paper explores the pressure-induced semiconductor-to-metal phase transition in halide perovskites TlMCl (M = Ge, Sn), focusing on their optoelectronic and mechanical properties.

Rational engineering of the surfaces of heterogeneous catalysts (especially the surfaces of supported metals) can endow intriguing catalytic functionalities for electrochemical reactions. However, it often requires complicated steps, and even if it does not, breaking the trade-off between activity and stability is quite challenging. Herein, we present a strategy for reconstructing supported catalysts via in situ growth of metallic nanolayers from the perovskite oxide support.

Scalable preparation of perovskite films with homogeneous structure via immobilizing strategy for high-performance solar modules.

Scalable fabrication of perovskite films with homogeneous structure remains a critical challenge in bridging power conversion efficiency gap between solar modules and laboratory-scale cells. To address this, we propose a slot-die coating strategy with pyrrodiazole additives in the perovskite precursor solution to simultaneously immobilize lead iodide and formamidinium iodide. This approach enhances wet film stability by suppressing colloidal aggregation, retards the crystal growth process, and ensures a consistent growth rate across the films.
