Objective: To analyze the new roles of community health workers as outlined in the 2017 National Primary Care Policy (PNAB) from the perspectives of both nurses and community health workers.
Methods: This qualitative study involved nurses and community health workers from Family Health teams, conducted through semi-structured interviews via videoconference between August 2021 and April 2022. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis.

The infodemic and the spread of disinformation have fostered mistrust in vaccines, health institutions, and governments, contributing to a global decline in vaccination coverage and the resurgence of vaccine-preventable diseases like measles. In recent years, the use of digital platforms to access health information, including vaccines, has increased significantly. However, the rapid dissemination of disinformation on these under-regulated platforms can greatly influence vaccination behavior.

In deciding whether to contribute to a public good, people often face a social dilemma known as the tragedy of the commons: either bear the cost of promoting the collective welfare, or free-ride on the efforts of others. Here, we study the dynamics of cooperation in the context of the threshold public goods games, in which groups must reach a cumulative target contribution to prevent a potential disaster, such as an environmental crisis or social unrest, that could result in the loss of all private wealth. The catch is that the crisis may never materialize, and the investment in the public good is lost.
