Background: Noninvasive skin rejuvenation treatment is growing in recognition to aesthetic medicine.
Aim: The objective of the study was to assess the efficacy and the safety of the 675-nm laser source treatment of photodamaged hands.
Materials And Methods: The study included 21 patients (6 males and 15 females) with a mean age of 63 (± 9) years. Patients were treated with -two to three sessions of the 675-nm laser with a 1-month interval between sessions. Photos of each patient were collected at baseline, and 3 months after the last laser session. The 5-point Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) was recorded with their final assessment session (3 months).
Results: The total GAIS scores showed satisfactory results: 15 patients (71%) experienced 4 score (excellent improvement) changes and 6 patients (29%) experienced 3 score (good improvement) changes. Clinical images showed good efficacy and visible aesthetic results for the management of photodamaged skin. No serious adverse effects were recorded.
Conclusion: This study demonstrates the safety and efficacy of for the aesthetic improvement of skin pigmentation and texture for photodamaged hands.

Exploring new low-cost and controllable synthesis methods for perovskite nanowires plays an important role in achieving their large-scale applications. However, there have been no studies on the synthesis of cesium lead halide nanowires using the electrodeposition method. In this study, the single-crystal mixed-halide W-CsPbIBr nanowires are first synthesized via a low-cost and controllable electrodeposition method.

Background: Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most prevalent cause of hair loss around the world.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of laser stimulation with a 675-nm wavelength for the treatment of AGA in male and female Indian patients.
Methods: A total of 20 Indian healthy patients aged 23-57 years who presented a grade of alopecia stage I to stage V underwent one single pass with a 675-nm laser to the scalp area twice a week for a total of 8 sessions, followed by once a week for 4 sessions and once in 2 weeks for 2 sessions.

Base stacking is fundamentally important to the stability of double-stranded DNA. However, few experiments can directly probe the local conformations and conformational fluctuations of the DNA bases. Here we report a new spectroscopic approach to study the local conformations of DNA bases using the UV-absorbing fluorescent guanine analogue, 6-methyl isoxanthopterin (6-MI), which can be used as a site-specific probe to label DNA.
